Books fuel creativity and festivity

Reading creates expansivity

Dale Lutes grew up in a neighbourhood with only two homes, six children per house. They had no-one but each other. Toys were a luxury so everyone played in the woods, creating magical kingdoms in treehouses, building stilts out of broken trees, fashioning figurines from mud. A childhood which may have appeared lacking on the outside was filled to the brim with mystery and imagination on the inside. It was simply marvelous.

Babysitting and Books

Forests and brooks

Dale's first babysitting job led her into a rich forest of books. After the children fell asleep, Dale picked up a book, becoming immersed in the pages and captivated by the characters. The next weekend, Dale sat by the phone, still as a statue, crossing her fingers, hoping someone would call her to babysit. Nothing could be better than playing with children during the day and reading books after the children fell asleep. As daylight was erased, Dale journeyed to wherever the authors led her, crossing rivers and brooks. These simple beginnings fueled a love for the written and spoken word. Poetry, inspirational sayings and affirmations fly into her mind without thought with speed. That’s just as well because Dale gave up thinking a long time ago. It caused too many headaches didn’t solve anything. Living in the moment, following her heart and reading fabulous books solved everything, opening the door to an extraordinary life.

Passion in fashion

School is smashing

Dale's passion for writing is matched by a passion for health. Dale decided it would be more fun to stay in school and learn her entire life than grow up. She got carried away with her love for knowledge, studying psychology, education, iridology, herbal medicine and homeopathy. After her parents became very upset with Dale for staying in school too long, she worked in Canada as a teacher and in the United States as counsellor. Each day after she went home from work, she was surprised because people seem to have more information than ever before but also more problems. She wondered whether the right kind of information was lacking or whether the right kind of information was available but just too difficult to understand. Research can be so darn hard to figure out.

Makes everyone smart

Easy, understandable solutions for complex problems were needed, information to help children, teens and adults. Yes, even help herself overcome a big challenge because Dale went over a cliff by mistake when driving down the highway of life. Face it, good times and not so good times are part of everyone’s life, not just Dale’s. So after being ill for a long time, Dale decided it was time to invite everyone into the magical kingdom of her mind, into the magical world of her books. She hopes you enjoy reading the books as much as she enjoyed writing them for you.
